A charming small oak side or lamp table, made in the traditional Jacobean style with turned baluster legs, square block feet with a plain box stretcher. The construction features pegged mortice -and-tenon joinery throughout and the underside of the top retains visible hand saw marks both typical of traditional oak furniture methods that persisted in smaller workshops well into the early 20th century.
We have cleaned and waxed the entire table and it is in great all original condition. Some patina and minor wear throughout, all of which adds great character. All the joints are solid and it is ready for many more years use.
Measures 41.5cm wide, 27cm deep and 65.5cm high. The width at the front is 30cm due to the taper.
