A French antique mahogany desk, that has been stained black. Featuring attractive turned legs and two drawers on the front. Finished with an inlaid, what we believe to be leather top.
Overall the desk is in great condition with in our opinion the perfect amount of wear and patina throughout. We have cleaned and waxed then entire desk. There are lots of small marks and dents throughout all of which give it a great worn in look and feel. The two drawers do not come with keys and we have given them both some fresh linings to cover some ink stains within. All joints have been checked and the desk is solid and ready for many more years use.
As with all out items they have already lived a 50 year plus life, so expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured.
