An antique French mirror, wooden frame that is made to look like bamboo. Currently set up to hang in a landscape rotation, but could be altered to hang portrait. Stamped ‘AL Paris’ on the back which we believe is the makers initials.
We have cleaned and waxed the frame which is in great vintage condition. Some patina throughout but no major damage. The glass is also in very good condition for its age, with just a few very minor age or ‘Foxing’ marks and a couple of very very light scratches. None of which are really visible when hung. The back panel is warped, but this does not affect it when hung. Please note that the reflection in the mirror in the pictures is of the wall behind the photography studio and not a representation of the glasses condition.
As with all out items they have already lived a 50 year plus life, so expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured.
