An antique French mirror, wooden frame that is made to look like bamboo. Currently set up to hang in a landscape rotation, but could be altered to hang portrait.
We have cleaned and waxed the frame which is in great vintage condition. Some patina throughout but no major damage. The glass is also in pretty good condition for its age, with just a few minor age or ‘Foxing’ marks including a small cluster of foxing on the bottom right side. There are also a couple of very very light scratches/marks on the glass. The back panel is slightly warped, but this does not affect it when hung. Please note that the reflection in the mirror in the pictures is of the wall behind the photography studio and not a representation of the glasses condition.
As with all out items they have already lived a 50 year plus life, so expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured. The frame measures 71.5cm long and 57cm high. The mirror within the frame measures 51.5cm long and 36.5cm high.
