Mek Elek Industrial Lamp
The Mek Elek lamp is an industrial lighting classic. This particular, scarcely seen brown version was produced for the MOD and used in munitions factories. Stamped with the military crows foot on the arm plate joins.
The lamp is in original and in our opinion the best condition you would be able to find in todays market. There are very very few areas of paint loss or chips. Some very light patina to the arms and a very very small chip to the edge of the shade. Unfortunately is is missing the ‘Mek Elek’ badge from the upper arm, these were lightweight transfers and so easily rubbed off.
We have rewired and PAT tested the lamp, along with adding it onto a weighted base so that it can be used free standing, these lamps were originally designed to be wall mounted.
Measurements - Each arm is 31cm long, the base is 18cm in diameter and the shade is 14cm in diameter. The base to the first pivot point is 40cm. The cable is approximately 3.2m including the plug.
