A fine looking French oak tambour door cabinet. Crafted from a mix of solid and veneered oak, it could be lent to a variety of uses, from paper filing to shoe storage. Featuring a tambour door front made from solid oak slats with a single key to keep things secure if required. A total of ten shelves, nine of which are removable and adjustable, and a central one which is fixed.
We have cleaned and waxed the entire cabinet and the overall condition is excellent, with only a few very minor cosmetic marks throughout. The only one point to note is that the tambour door has to be carefully raised so that it does not come off its tracks either side. This is not due to damage but rather just the way the cabinet has been made. There is a section of the rails on one side that is wider causing the door to pop out slightly if not raised carefully. This does not cause any issue with its function once you get the hang of it. A video of this will be provided prior to shipping.
Measures 180cm high, 44.5cm wide and 36.5cm deep. Shelf space as shown in the images is 14cm high (could be reduced to 6.5cm if shelfs are arranged closer), 36cm wide and 29.5cm deep.
As with all our items, they have already lived a 50 year plus life. You should expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured.
