The iconic mid century Parker Knoll Statesman chair, first produced in 1969 right through until the early 90s. This particular version is one of the earlier models, identified by its specific rotating mechanism. It has been recently reupholstered by its pervious owner in a mid grey, short pile slightly textured fabric which will work well in a variety of interiors. Also included is the elusive, matching footstall.
We have cleaned the entire chair with a professional upholstery cleaner, and overall the fabric is in excellent condition, there is very little wear or signs of use. One very minor mark on the side of the body of the chair near the teak base (see pictures) which is hardly noticeable unless really looking for it.
The 360 rotating mechanism is working well and has been freshly greased. The teak bases have been waxed and are in excellent condition, with just a few very minor marks.
The chair is 80cm wide, 85cm deep and 93cm high, taken at the widest points. The seat area is 50×50cm and 41cm high. The footstool measures 48×48cm, 39cm high.
