Mid Century Set of Four Ercol Quaker Dining Chairs
The iconic Quaker chair from Ercol has been around since mid part of the 20th century. Crafted from solid elm, this set of four chairs have really stood the test of time very well. Just as desirable now as they were when they were released, thanks to their clean lines and soft curved edges. This set is finished in a dark brown lacquer, also know as the ‘Golden Dawn’ colorway. This set sports a square gold label which indicates they were produced after 1977.
We have cleaned all four chairs, and they are in great original condition. There is some signs of wear, particularly on the top of the backs. Caused by many years of pulling the chairs out from a table. Some other minor scratches throughout, please see the images for examples. I have not pictured every single mark, there are a few others similar to the ones pictured. Two of the chairs are missing the gold stickers. All chairs are in solid condition, a couple of them do creak slightly when you lean back but they are structurally sound. All come with press studs on the underside so cushions can be added if desired.
