A stunning pair of French bobbin corner chairs. Rare to find these as a matching pair, these are more suited as decorative chairs than functional seating due to there low and smaller size. Oak turned frames with rush seats.
We have cleaned and waxed the frames, which are in great condition with a light patina throughout. We have check all joints and the chairs are solid. Some minor marks to the joining blocks on the frames where the chair have been up against a wall at some point in their life. The rush seats unfortunately do show some wear and damage. One is worst than the other and does have an area of broken stands. Still perfectly functional and could be covered with a cushion. Please see images.
Each chair is 43cm square (taken at the widest points) with a seat height of 36.5cm and a total height of 65.5cm.
