A fine looking pair of solid elm hoop back chairs. A simple and rustic design that would suit a variety of interiors. They have a great patina and signs of wear throughout.
We have cleaned and waxed both chairs, they are in great vintage condition. As you can see from the pictures they both have lots of marks and age related wear throughout, all of which adds to their character. All joints have been checked and both chairs are solid and ready for many years more use. You may notice that the front legs on one chair splays out slightly more than the other, this does not affect its function and is just a by product of a hand crafted antique.
Each chair has a seat area of 35×35cm, seat height 46cm and overall height 88cm.
As with all our items, they have already lived a 50 year plus life. You should expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured.
