A pair of vintage bedside tables produced for the Ministry of Defense by Remploy in the mid 1960s. They are crafted from solid teak with Formica tops with a repeat leaf pattern. Featuring a single drawer and lower shelf on each.
We have cleaned and waxed both tables. They are in pretty good condition for their age, but both do show some age and marks from use throughout. The most notable mark is on the front of one of the drawers. Although these are a pair there are a couple of very subtle differences between the two tables. Firstly the lip around the top just below the Formica top is slightly wider on one and the legs on one are very slightly more tapered. Please see the final two pictures. These differences are only very slight, and when positioned on opposite sides of a bed will not be noticeable at all.
