A vintage French low bobbin chain, in the style of Charles Dudouyt. It is a small low chair, perfect to use fireside or as a decorative object.
We have cleaned the seat and waxed the frame and overall the chair is in very good used condition, with a light patina throughout. The rush seat is in great shape and shows little to no wear. All joints have been checked and the chair is solid and ready for many more years use.
As with all out items they have already lived a 50 year plus life, so expect to find marks and signs of age to match. Any major defects or noteworthy marks are always shown in photographs, but there will more than likely be other small marks not pictured. Measures 42cm wide, 43cm deep. The seat height is 25cm and the total back height is 65cm. All taken at widest points.
